Desolation Sound Provincial Marine Park,

A treasure trove, a natural ark,

Offering 60 kilometers of coastline,

And campsites where nature lovers can recline.

Swimming, boating, and kayaking too,

Adventures waiting for me and you,

Scuba diving beneath the waves,

A world of wonder, where beauty engraves.

Surrounded by mountains, rugged and grand,

Coast Mountains to the east, a natural band,

And Vancouver Island Ranges to the west,

A barrier protecting this wildness best.

Easily accessible by boat or plane,

From Lund, Powell River, or Campbell River's main,

A seclusion that draws us near,

A place of peace, where we can disappear.

Desolation Sound, a rugged retreat,

A place where nature and adventure meet,

A world untouched, a wilderness wild,

A place where we can reconnect with the child.
