Their petals soft and pure as snow,
Against the sky, a fiery show,
A sight that fills my heart with woe.
The sun will soon be gone away,
And darkness creeps in, day by day,
As life goes on, come what may.
The orchids glowing in the light,
A vision that is pure delight,
A memory to hold tight.
A reminder of life's fleeting pace,
That each moment we must embrace,
And cherish with love and embrace.
A fleeting moment, ever new,
And in the beauty that we view,
We find a peace that's always true.
That beauty lives on, never ends,
That even in darkness, we can make amends,
And find hope in the dawn that ascends.
Watching the colors fade and die,
Let us not forget to try,
To live our lives with purpose high.
We too can make the world anew,
With each moment, fresh and true,
In all we say, and all we do.
And hold on tight to this moment's loom,
For in this world of light and gloom,
We'll find our peace and find our room.
